Asil/Aseel Rattling sound?

A common issue found in Asil and hens is the rattling sound from the upper respiratory tract.This can occur due to dusty feed, change in weather, drinking chilled water or an infection.Sore throat is also very common is aseels. The treatment is simple.I usually do the following and these methods have worked:

1) give luke warm water to drink

2)Add tylosin in water +ehthromycin

3) give herbal tea

4) If the aseel has running cough then give a cough syrup.

5) use Penicilin 1000000 IU very effective injection for upper respirator diseases.

6) on the nostrils of the asil apply vicks for easy breathing.

Do not give these all treatment at once any of these will work.

Once the chicks hatch feeding them proper diet is very important.Normaly alot of people enquire about feeding the chicks for healthy and quick growth. What to Feed Asil\Aseels?

typically everybody has its own choice about feeding asils. Normaly people used soaked pearl millet (Bajra). I feed different to my aseel.My feed is a mixture of lentils, wheat pearl millet,black peas and all the home made items.Iusally give them cooked bread, Cooked rice  and sometimes boiled chicken as well. Now it depends if you want to fight the bird or keep it for breeding. I usually don't get my birds in fighting but i keep birds as my hobby. for the fighting birds i usually feed the following food. 1) Boiled egg. 2) vitamin B12 (neurobion or evion 600) 3) home made cooked food 4) Alot of exercise 5) keep the bird away and separate from hens.the more isolated the bird more it gets attached to you and aggressive. 6) If winter give it omega 3.

well! you are thinking to acquire a new asil bird and have different options in front of you, but it is hard for you to identify one great bird. there is a myth that asils that are of white eye are good fighters and are of pure breed which is to some extent very true.
